Having grown up with a passion for all things horsey, I undertook a BA Equine Business Management degree at Moreton Morrell. Having graduated with a 1st class honours degree and entering the corporate world of work, I quickly came to realise that I am not made for a life of office work. I am much happier out and about in the great outdoors…no matter the weather!!

In 2018 I began volunteering as a fosterer for Spaniel Aid. This is where my passion for dogs, dog training and behaviour really grew. I became confident in handling and working with dogs with a variety of behavioural issues, finding my niche for working with anxious dogs.

​

In 2020 along came Rickson, an 18-month-old springer spaniel who became my first “foster fail” when he decided he wasn’t leaving! He arrived as a fear reactive and highly anxious dog. I poured my heart and soul in to this dog and have enjoyed the journey from day one with him.

SP Pet Services was founded in 2022 as a dog walking and pet care business. Since then I have spent time on my CPD, completing behavioural training certification, participating in scent detection, mantrailing, obedience and gun dog training. In 2024 I became a Bronze Level Instructor with UK Sniffer Dogs and in 2026 I became an Easy Peasy Puppy Instructor.

I love working with owners to provide the best for their dogs. Using positive reinforcement based training to build a strong relationship between dogs and their owners, focussing on the fun of it and low pressure training.
